Showers are pushing their way into Mid-Missouri from Kansas. There will be plenty of dry time and showers will not be heavy. Many areas that receive rain will get just enough to wet the ground.
Clouds and lingering showers will continue through Tuesday morning before clouds begin to clear Tuesday evening. Temperatures will begin in the upper 50s and will warm to the upper 70s in the afternoon.
Wednesday will then be the warmest day of the workweek.
Not only will temps be in the middle 80s, but it will also be our next best chance at showers and a few rumbles of thunder.
Thursday onwards will be cooler with highs in the lower to middle 70s through the weekend.
