If you have outdoor plans on this Labor Day Monday, I would strongly suggest you prioritize those for the early half of the day. We're waking up to a mix of clouds and sunshine today but by this afternoon and evening, scattered rain and storms will be in the area.

More hit or miss rain continues Tuesday and in fact, into Wednesday morning, as well. No widespread severe weather is expected.

Rain cooled air with highs in the low 80s is in place both Tuesday and Wednesday before higher temperatures and humidity move into the forecast Thursday.

Friday is the hottest day of the work-week, sitting just shy of 90 but humidity is slightly lower at that point. Saturday will be dry and mild with highs in the mid-80s before a touch of morning rain returns on Sunday.
