Scattered showers and a few embedded thunderstorms are expected throughout the day today. While no severe weather is anticipated, heavy rainfall and frequent lightning will accompany these storms. High temperatures will cool into the low 80s, thanks to rain and cloud cover.

Temperatures will remain on the cooler side tomorrow, with another chance for isolated to scattered showers. However, unlike today, the rain will be less widespread and more hit-or-miss.
