A major road on the Cambridgeshire border is blocked due to a crash . The M11 northbound is partially blocked near Saffron Walden this afternoon (Monday, September 1).

This is due to a crash. As a result, there are four miles of traffic queues.

Traffic monitoring site Inrix says: “M11 Northbound partially blocked, queueing traffic for four miles due to accident before J9 (Saffron Walden). Congestion to both sides, with three miles opposite back past J9.”

Essex Police and the East of England Ambulance Service have been contacted for more information.
