A father has said he and his partner have 'closure' after an inquest found his teenage son died after accidentally drowning. Jack Lloyd , 16, visited Crown Lakes in Farcet on April 3 with friends.

Jack entered the water where he got into difficulty before disappearing. His body was found by dive teams several hours later.

An inquest held was on Tuesday (September 2) into Jack’s death and the coroner determined that he accidentally drowned. Jack’s father Darren Lloyd and partner Gemma attended the inquest.

Darren said he and Gemma attended as they “need closure”. He added: “We wanted to hear the final outcome of the inquest.
