Prime Video is putting the brakes on Motorheads .

The YA racing drama, which stars Michael Cimino , Melissa Collazo and Ryan Phillippe , was canceled after just one season, but the story might not be over yet.

The series, created by John A. Norris , followed teen twins Zac and Caitlyn as they entered the world of street racing while uncovering a family mystery.

The first season debuted in May, and ended with two major cliffhangers, including a fiery crash and a mysterious phone call.

Despite strong reviews (78% with critics and a 95% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes ), Motorheads never fully took off in the streaming charts (it never made Nielsen’s weekly Top 10 streaming rankings), likely leading to its cancellation, per Deadline .
