Lukas Lekavicius was announced as the latest newcomer for AEK, heading to the 2025-26 edition of the Basketball Champions League.

“I am here,” mentioned the 31-year-old point guard in Greek, in a video shared on the team Facebook account on Monday.

Lekavicius will introduce himself to the BCL, besides returning to Greece following his spell with Panathinaikos between 2017 and 2019.

In the Qualification tournament leading to Group F, alongside AEK, VEF Riga, and NHSZ-Szolnoki Olajbanyasz, back-to-back champion of the Bulgarian League Rilski Sportist welcomed two new players in 24-year-old Jalen Thomas on Sunday and 28-year-old Mike Edwards on Monday.
