Repairs are taking place along a path that was damaged after a water main burst in a Cambridgeshire village. Residents in Stilton and Glatton were left with no or little water on Friday (August 29) after a water main burst along Church Close in Stilton.

The water main has now been repaired, however Anglian Water is carrying out repairs to make a path along Church Close safe again. An Anglian Water spokesperson said: “We’re really sorry that some customers in Stilton may have had low water pressure or no water at all over the weekend.

“This was due to a burst water main on Church Close, which our teams have now repaired. Everyone’s taps should now be running again as usual, after our teams made some tweaks to the network.
