Nebraska is one of the most unsafe states for teenage drivers, according to a new study.
When looking at safety, economics and driving laws, a recent WalletHub study ranked Nebraska as one of the worst states for teen drivers.
The survey evaluated teen-driving environments in all 50 states, on 23 measures including teen driver fatalities, average car repair costs and the presence of impaired-driving laws.
Overall, Nebraska came in at 45th place, making it the sixth worst state for teen drivers. While Nebraska placed fifth for the economic environment, its score was tanked by the safety and driving laws rankings.
New York was the safest state for teen drivers and Montana was ranked the lowest.
