NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — North Little Rock police are investigating a shooting that left one dead in the early morning hours of September 1.

Officers responded to the 300 block of East Bethany Road in reference to a shooting around 2:55 a.m. When they arrived, they found an adult male suffering from at least one gunshot wound.

The victim was transported to a nearby hospital, where he later died. The name of the victim is not being released at this time pending notification of the next of kin.
