COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KLTV) - Former Gilmer Buckeye Brandon Tennison tossed a touchdown pass in UTSA’s 42-24 loss to Texas A&M on Saturday.

It was the redshirt sophomore’s first touchdown as a Roadrunner.

With 14 seconds left in the game, Tennison connected with AJ Wilson for a 34-yard touchdown pass for the game’s final score. Tennison finished 2-for-2 for 49 yards and a touchdown.

Rusk’s Owen McCown started the game for UTSA and went 19-for-32 for 121 yards. Devin McCuin (Jacksonville) had six catches for 33 yards. DJ Allen (Gladewater) had one catch for 14 yards. Will Henderson (Gilmer) had seven carries for 12 yards and caught one pass for 13 yards. Defensively, Jakevian Rodgers (Daingerfield) had one tackle and a pass break up.
