Germany dismantled Great Britain 120–57 in a EuroBasket group stage clash, producing one of the most dominant performances in the tournament’s history.

The Germans became the first team since 1971 to double the opponent’s score at a EuroBasket, when the Soviet Union beat Spain 118–58. Their 120 points mark the highest-scoring game by a single team in EuroBasket since 1995, when Russia dropped 126 on Finland.

The margin of victory was just as historic: +63 is the largest by any team since 1969, when Yugoslavia crushed Sweden 115–43.
