CLEVELAND, Ohio - Trent Reznor and Nine Inch Nails returned to Cleveland with the “Peel It Back Tour” on Sunday night.
The band played a tight, 105-minute set at Rocket Arena drawing heavily from 1994’s critical and commercial breakthrough album “The Downward Spiral,” along with some other hits from its catalog. But it skipped the Ghosts series of albums entirely and the band’s newest single, “As Alive As You Need Me To Be,” from the upcoming “Tron: Ares” film.
Reznor, a native Clevelander, has always been very intentional with NIN’s concert presentations. The band drew cards from the deck of well-worn arena concert tropes, but it shuffled the deck a bit.
