CLEVELAND, Ohio – For the 53rd consecutive Labor Day, Cleveland’s Kinsman neighborhood morphed into a community and political spectacle.

Candidates from across the state joining marching bands, labor unions, fraternities and sororities in the 11th Congressional District Community Caucus’ Labor Day parade and festival at Luke Easter Park in Cleveland.

U.S. Senate candidate Sherrod Brown and gubernatorial candidate Amy Acton marched in the parade, which was hosted by 11th District U.S. Rep. Shontel Brown, who also served as the parade’s Grand Marshal.

Shontel Brown, who spent nearly three hours emceeing the event, announced each official and candidate as the parade passed the stage at the corner of Kinsman Road and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
