Police are appealing for information following a wilful vehicle fire in Shotts. ‌

Between 5am and 5.30am on Thursday, August 28, a white Ford Transit van was on fire outside a property on Brown Street. ‌

The fire was extinguished by the Scottish Fire and rescue service and there were no reports of any injuries. ‌

Constable Ross Dalrymple said: “Our enquiries are ongoing and I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident and hasn’t already spoken to police to contact us.
