EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — The Evansville Wartime Museum is set to host a special 80th Anniversary Celebration of the End of World War II on Sunday, August 31, 2025.
The event will run from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. and will feature free admission for all attendees. Visitors can explore WWII vehicles and aircraft on display while enjoying family-friendly activities and story time.
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet WWII veterans and home-front heroes. Recording booths will be available for visitors to share their memories of the war years.
A short commemorative program is scheduled for 1 p.m. at the museum, located at 7503 Petersburg Road, Evansville, IN.
