FRISCO, Texas — Dove season is officially underway in North Texas as of Sept. 1. One North Texas city has designated spots where dove hunting is allowed with landowner permission.
Dove hunting season in North Texas runs from Sept. 1 to Nov. 9, then from Dec. 19, 2025, to Jan. 7, 2026, according to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department.
In the City of Frisco, dove hunters can hunt in certain parts of the city with permission from the landowner. Here's a map of permitted hunting areas in Frisco:
