INDIANAPOLIS -- Officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department worked with deputies with the Indiana State Police over the holiday weekend on a reckless driving-centered initiative.
According to a social media post made by IMPD on Monday, the two entities worked together to "address reckless driving and street takeover activity" throughout Indianapolis, which included: • Eight arrests • 22 traffic citations • Six vehicle tows • Seizure of three illegally possessed firearms, one of which was confirmed stolen • One machine gun conversion device recovered.
"IMPD and ISP remain committed to making sure our streets are safe for everyone," the post read.
