YORK, Pa. (WHTM) -- A man has been arrested and charged in connection with a violent incident more than a week ago in downtown York.

The arrest was made in connection with an Aug. 22 incident where LGBTQ+ members reported they were harassed and attacked.

York City Police say 22-year-old Devin Harbaugh, of York, was arrested Friday. He was released from custody on a $50,000 unsecured bail. He is charged with one count of aggravated assault which is a felony in the first degree and one count of strangulation, a second degree misdemeanor.

The York County District Attorney says there is a substantial video evidence showing the harassment and assault. When the incident first occurred -- York City Police Commissioner Michael Muldrow vowed to investigate it to the fullest degree along with the
