(WHTM) — In his weekly press conference, Penn State head coach James Franklin discussed the Nittany Lions' strong showing in Week 1 against Nevada and their upcoming Week 2 matchup with the Florida International Panthers.

Nittany Lions win turnover battle, but penalties were an issue against Nevada

Franklin noted that he was pleased with Penn State's statistical dominance over the Wolf Pack, including scoring 16 points off turnovers and starting the game with a 13-play drive for a touchdown.

Franklin was also pleased that over 73 players were able to see action against Nevada, including many with 20 or more reps; however, he was not 100% satisfied with the result.
