Tributes have been paid after a Spandau Ballet 'genius' died.

Tony Hadley sent his condolences to 'marketing and promotional genius' Alfredo Saitto following his death.

On social media, Hadley shared an emotional post alongside a picture of Alfredo.

The 65-year-old wrote: "Without Alfredo Saitto, I'm not sure Spandau Ballet would have been so successful in Italy?

"He blindly believed in us and never stopped supporting the band, his dedication finally paid off with our first big hit in Italy, 'I’ll Fly for You'!

"What a lovely kind man my condolences to his family and friends love Tone xx."
