Indian Creek educators are turning their passions into lesson plans.
They’ll be traveling the world and bringing lessons back to the classroom through the Indian Creek Education Foundation Passport to Passion program. Four teachers have been awarded “Passport to Passion” travel grants by the Indian Creek Education Foundation.
The foundation awards classroom grants to enhance learning opportunities for students and provide them with opportunities that would not otherwise be available to them, according to the school website.
Past grants have included new programs, projects, technology, enrichment materials and professional development. More than $180,000 has been awarded since the foundation was created. This school year, around $10,000 was awarded in travel grants.
