LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - The Laredo Public Library Advisory Board met on August 27 to give a clear overview of what the next month will look like.
One of the biggest topics was the reintroduction of the Recordando program that the library holds.
The Recordando program was launched exactly a year ago. The program is targeted toward older adults where the group shares memories, life stories and knowledge as they reflect on life topics and past events. Library staff uses items from the Historical Collection and discuss the memories that come to mind. It’s a place to share memories, keep memory sharp and foster relationships. The group has no registration required.
