HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) - Officers with the Evansville Police Department (EPD) say a man was arrested after allegedly threatening to blow up a hotel in downtown Evansville.

According to the EPD, on August 31 around 3:45 p.m., in the 600 block of Bob Jones Way in Evansville, it was reported that a homeless man was allegedly harassing the employees and customers, reportedly making threats to blow up the building. An officer responding to the scene says they saw a man, later identified as suspect Robert Scarbrough, walking away from the hotel, and an employee with the hotel pointed out Scarbrough when the officer asked where the suspect was. According to officers, hotel employees accused Scarbrough of walking up to the hotel asking for water or the bathroom. Employees allegedly told Scarbrough
