LINCOLN, Neb. —

Nebraska hosts Akron in the Huskers' home opener at Memorial Stadium.

It is NU's second matchup all-time against Akron and third in the past five seasons against a program from the Mid-American Conference. Nebraska is 8-1 all-time against schools from the MAC — the only loss was to Northern Illinois in 2017.
