CHARLESTON, WV (WVNS) -- With no winning ticket on Saturday's drawing, the Powerball jackpot continues to grow as it reaches fifth largest jackpot of the game.

According to a press release from the West Virginia Lottery, the Powerball jackpot reached $1.1 billion, with an approximate cash value of $498.4 million, for the Labor Day drawing on Monday, September 1, 2025.

The press release stated that 115 tickets were sold that matched a $50,000 cash prize, one of which was at Cheat Lake Price Cutter on Venture Drive in Morgantown.

According to the press release, the ticket matched four numbers as well as the Powerball, and the numbers on Saturday were 3, 18, 22, 27, 33, and the Powerball was 17.
