SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — Lottery fever continues to sweep the nation.

The Powerball jackpot has now climbed to the 5th largest amount in its history, totaling $1.3 billion.

Officials said no ticket matched all six numbers after Monday evening’s drawing.

If someone were to win the jackpot during the next drawing, on Wednesday, they would have two options to claim their winnings.

The first would be getting a lump sum payment estimated at just over $589 million. The second is the annuity option,
