ST. GEORGE — Tech Ridge will soon play host to one of its first apartment projects, thanks to the St. George City Council approving a complex set for the northern edge of the mixed-use development.

Officials say the project aligns with the goal of constructing housing within the developing tech park for the people who will come to work there.

Covering 4.9 acres between Donlee Drive and Tech Ridge Drive, the proposed apartment complex will be built just south of Black Hill View Park. It is planned to feature 199 units and nearly 400 parking spaces, split between an outdoor lot and a five-level parking garage. The City Council approved the project by a 4-1 majority vote during its Aug. 21 meeting.
