FROSTBURG, Md. – Myles Fulton completed 16 of 22 passes for 209 yards and four touchdowns to lift Frostburg State (1-0) to a 41-27 win over Shepherd (0-1) in football action at Frostburg State on Saturday night.

Frostburg State took a 7-0 lead when Fulton teamed with Jevon Gillyard on a 40-yard scoring pass with 10:04 left in the first quarter. Rams kicker Max Barba later connected on a 42-yard field goal with 5:20 left in the first quarter to cut the lead to 7-3.

Fulton fired a 45-yard scoring pass to Ray Adames with 8:12 left in the second quarter to give Frostburg State a 14-3 advantage. Carter Mazalewski later picked off a Shepherd pass and ran 55 yards for a score with 3:52.

Barba added a 44-yard field goal with 1:47 left in the half to make it 20-6.
