MALONE, N.Y. (ABC22/FOX44) - New York State Police said Monday that a a 19-year-old woman from Western New York provided a false name when trying to enter the Upstate Correctional Facility.
According to police reports, on Saturday some time before 8:23 a.m., Omariana A. Curry, 19, of Greece, N.Y., tried to enter the maximum-security prison using a fake ID card and providing a fake name. Due to a reported prior incident at a different prison, Curry is banned from visiting Upstate Correctional.
Curry was arrested, charged with counts including criminal impersonation and criminal trespass, and released.
