OCONEE COUNTY, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - The Oconee County Regional Airport said it has closed for landings after a plane slid off the runway during a landing on Saturday.
The airport director reports a corporate plane was landing after a flight for the Clemson/LSU football game. No one was injured, and neither the airplane nor the airport was damaged.
The airport remains open for departures to the east and is expected to reopen fully by Monday night or Tuesday, according to the director.
