SALEM, Va. (WDBJ) - At Mountain Movers Creative Arts in Salem, a special group of children is taking the stage. Through Darby’s Dancers , they’re discovering new ways to build confidence, make friends and experience the joy of dance.

Darby’s Dancers is a national nonprofit that gives children with disabilities the opportunity to learn dance. Mountain Movers hosts the Salem chapter, where classes are adapted to fit each child’s needs.

Director Lacie Craft, who is also an occupational therapist, said she sees the impact every week.
