OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) -- The Omaha Symphony is kicking off its 2025 - 2026 season in September, with some old favorites returning and new experiences debuting.
Omaha Symphony Maestro Ernest Richardson sat down with First Alert 6’s Maria Cade to talk about what’s coming up.
JoAnn Falletta will be joining the symphony as the Principal Guest Conductor and Artistic Advisor for the season.
“The thing that’s really remarkable to me about her is that she is at the vanguard of professional female conductors of professional orchestras,” Maestro Ernest Richardson said.
On Sept. 12, the Symphony will perform a free concert at the Gene Leahy Mall. will be presented as part of The RiverFront One Community Culture Festival. The show starts at 7:30 p.m.
