OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Monday, the Ralston High School automotive club had its car show cancelled due to rain. The show was one of the final events during this year’s Ralston Days.

The automotive club was set to host its first car show at Ralston Days. Funds from the show and a similar show to be held at the end of April helps pay for trips to nationals, club projects, equipment, and more.

“This would have been just additional funds helping us out, we did not plan for these funds to be there so it’s not a huge loss,” said Javan Lucero. “But it would have been definitely helpful for some of those projects that are building this year.”

Despite a gloomy end to their day, the club is starting a new school year with more students showing an interest in trades.
