Free root beer floats to be given to middle school students on Sept. 3 in Jamestown

Jamestown First United Methodist Church will be handing out free root beer floats on Wednesday, Sept. 3, to middle school youth right after school dismisses.

This is the church's annual kickoff for its Crosswalk after-school program for middle school youth, which starts the following Wednesday and runs on Wednesdays from after school until 4:45 p.m.
