WOODLAND HILLS, Calif. – Rams head coach Sean McVay on Monday said he expects quarterback Matthew Stafford (back) to start this Sunday's regular-season opener against the Texans at SoFi Stadium (1:25 p.m. PT, CBS).

McVay also confirmed that Stafford will participate in a full week of practice.

Meanwhile, offensive lineman Alaric Jackson (blood clots in lower leg) took part in Monday's walkthrough as scheduled. The team will monitor him throughout the week, but the plan is for him to also start, according to McVay. McVay previously said Jackson was scheduled to practice fully Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, provided things go according to plan.
