PLAINVILLE, Conn. (WTNH) — A one-car collision has closed down Route 72 East in the area of Exit 4 on Monday afternoon around 4:30 p.m., according to Connecticut State Police.

The extent of the injuries are unknown at this time. Drivers are asked to seek an alternate route.
