Dwayne ' The Rock ' Johnson appeared with a significantly slimmed-down physique at the Venice Film Festival over the weekend.

The WWE superstar turned actor was reported to have lost around 60 pounds, going from 300 pounds to around 240 pounds, for his role as UFC pioneer Mark Kerr in the biopic The Smashing Machine , according to the Independent . Johnson followed a similar path to fellow wrestler turned actor Dave Bautista , who looked unrecognizable after losing a drastic amount of weight for his role in The Killer's Game last year.
