SCHAUMBURG, Ill. (WLS) -- It's been a busy day in many communities in the Chicago area, where residents are taking advantage of just about perfect weather this Labor Day.
The marching bands got their work done early in Naperville, with the annual Labor Day parade. Thousands lined the course, watching the many community organizations marching by.

"We ride bikes as a big group and come here and watch the parade. It's a great last weekend of summer," parade attendee Kia Cvengros said.
Of course, one highlight for the kids was plenty of candy to collect. It's a neighborhood parade.
"This year we got up early, walked over and got a good spot," Remington Haymon said.

On the
