LOUISVILLE, Ky. —
Work on the River Road water line project will be starting up again this week.
Officials paused work on the project during August, opening the road back up.
Starting Tuesday, crews will resume the installation of new water lines near Glenview Avenue and Lime Kiln Lane.
Lane closures and detours will be back in place between Glenview Avenue and Lime Kiln Lane.
This phase of work is expected to be finished in November.
According to Louisville Water's website, 60% of the water line has been installed. Click here to see more updates.
Officials hope to have the project wrapped up by summer 2026.
