MIAMI BEACH, Fla. (WFLA) — Help came just in time for four boaters enjoying a day on the water off Miami Beach.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue said they were called in to assist the Coast Guard in searching for a vessel in distress around seven miles offshore.

Responders located the 25-foot boat overturned after it began taking on water, and it looked to be just a few moments from going under. Four people were sitting on top of the boat waiting for help to arrive.

Fortunately, rescue teams were able to quickly get the boaters out of the water and back to dry land, likely a little shaken but ultimately unharmed.
