LAWRENCE — After suffering a non-contact injury during practice last week, the prognosis for Bangally Kamara doesn’t look promising for Kansas football ahead of its game at Missouri on Saturday.

KU coach Lance Leipold outlined Kamara, a redshirt senior linebacker, did not practice Monday. The same goes for sophomore offensive lineman Jack Tanner. Kamara was set to start this past week’s game at home against Wagner, before that injury, and Tanner is someone who is capable of providing depth for the Jayhawks (2-0) at left tackle when available.

“They’re not on the depth chart, so you can probably figure where that’s trending for both,” Leipold said.
