NEW YORK- An Army football player and his father are being celebrated for their bravery after rescuing a man from a fiery car crash late last night.

Sophomore safety Larry Pickett Jr. and his father rushed to the scene after witnessing the crash into a utility pole. The car quickly became engulfed in flames, but the duo acted swiftly to save the driver.

Reflecting on the incident, Pickett Jr. said, "I'm just grateful that we got him out on it."

The driver of the crash sustained minor bruises but is expected to make a full recovery thanks to their quick actions.
