KILLDEER, N.D. — For volleyball teams in Class B Region 7, the new season always begins with a tournament. The Hettinger-Scranton Nighthawks, the Mott-Regent Wildfire, the South Heart Eagles, the Belfield Bantams, the Beach Buccaneers, the Killdeer Cowboys and the Bowman County Bulldogs all got the 2025 season underway with the Killdeer Mountain Invitational Volleyball Tournament.

This tournament was not so much about winning, it was about finding chemistry with each other and figuring out which combinations will connect on the court.
