EAST LANSING, Mich. - Michigan State men’s soccer head coach Damon Rensing captured his 150th career victory with a thrilling 1-0 win over Detroit Mercy Monday afternoon in a Labor Day Battle in front of a packed DeMartin Stadium crowd.

Rensing is in his 17th season at Michigan State and is the second-winningest coach in Spartan men’s soccer history behind Hall of Famer Joe Baum.

“I actually didn’t realize until earlier today,” Rensing said of his 150th career win. “These milestones just make you reflect.
