GARLAND COUNTY, Ark. – Garland County authorities said three people are dead and three others were injured after two boats collided early Monday morning on Lake Hamilton.

According to investigators, the crash happened around 12:30 a.m., with two people originally listed as unaccounted for, but later found to have died.

Investigators said that the three people who died in the crash were 36-year-old Andrew Eason of Mabelvale, 50-year-old Justin Hall and 44-year-old Edis Miller, both of Hot Springs.

Garland County Sheriff’s Office Captain Joel Ware said that the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission is leading the investigation into what caused the crash.
