The Ardmore Fire Department is providing potable water to residents for flushing needs while the city is asking people to watch their water usage. Officials hope to have drinking water available at the fire station soon as well.

On Sunday morning, officials in Ardmore urged residents in a social media post to watch their water usage. City officials released this statement:

"Limestone County Water Authority has informed Ardmore Water System that we will need to disconnect from their water system immediately due to water issues they are having with their water tank. Unfortunately, this will cause Ardmore Water to have low pressure at this time.

Please help us in conserving as much water as possible until we get further notice from Limestone County Water. We will update our customers as so
