MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - Crowds of people gathered on the Wisconsin State Capitol steps for the “Workers over Billionaires” rally in honor of Labor Day on Monday.

The Madison rally is part of a national movement around the country to protest against billionaires in power.

“We’re deeply concerned about what’s happening to worker’s rights in this country,” Marie Martini, a member of the Raging Grannies, said. “While billionaires make more, the poor people just keep working, working, working and they can’t afford a quality life. We’ve seen in our lifetime, the quality of life has gone down and we’re very concerned about what’s going to happen to everybody’s grandchild because of this.”
