Following the Jaylen Warren extension, the Steelers didn’t take Labor Day off. Per a report from KPRC2’s Aaron Wilson, the team hosted linebacker Jon Rhattigan for a visit.

Rhattigan played college football at Army, logging 78 tackles, 1.5 sacks, and two interceptions in his final NCAA season. He went undrafted in 2021, signing with the Seattle Seahawks. He appeared in 36 games over the next three seasons in Seattle, not starting any games but recording 32 total tackles.

In 2025, Rhattigan signed with the Carolina Panthers, playing in 16 games that season and making 12 tackles. Like in Seattle, he was primarily a special teams player. Over his career, he has 1,018 special teams snaps to just 20 on defense.
