My Life With the Walter Boys showrunner Melanie Halsall has given her verdict on the future of the hit show beyond season 2. The Netflix teen drama , based on the Wattpad novel of the same name by Ali Novak, debuted on Netflix on December 7, 2023, with all 10 episodes of the first season dropped at the same time.

My Life with the Walter Boys season 2 premiered August 28, 2025, also running for 10 episodes, and was better received than its predecessor. The season concluded with a cliffhanger ending in which saw Alex walk in on Jackie confessing her love for Cole, alongside leaving George's fate unknown, and these are things the show will need to revisit in future seasons.
